Privacy Policy

This policy explains the information practices of the Product Spark Studio website and the Praying For You Community mobile app. Their behavior is different, so we describe them separately.

The Product Spark Studio website

This website does not intentionally use analytics, advertising technology, cookies, or tracking tools. It has no accounts and no contact form. If you select an email link, your email application handles the message you choose to send.

Praying For You Community

Information you provide

When Firebase is configured for Praying For You Community, you can create an account with a display name, email address, and password. Firebase Authentication handles credentials and sessions. Product Spark Studio does not build or store a separate password system.

You can create prayer requests, choose a category, add request text, and choose whether the request displays your name or appears as anonymous. Selecting anonymous affects how a post is displayed. The app still associates the request with your account internally so that ownership, deletion, and moderation can work.

You can also indicate that you prayed for a request and report content. Prayer interactions are designed around an aggregate count rather than a public list of who prayed. Reports are stored privately for manual moderation and are not public.

How information is used

Information that is not public

Your email address and account identifier are not displayed on prayer requests. Reports are not public. The app does not provide a public list of people who prayed for a request.

Service providers

Praying For You Community uses Firebase services from Google for authentication and application data. The mobile app is built with React Native and Expo. These providers may process technical and account information as needed to provide their services, subject to their own terms and policies.

Account deletion and data requests

The current app includes a Delete account action in Settings. When it completes successfully, the app removes your active prayer requests from the feed, deletes your private profile document, deletes your Firebase Authentication user, clears the local session, and returns to the signed-out state.

Prayer requests removed during account deletion are soft-removed rather than immediately erased from the backend. A minimal removed record may remain for safety, moderation, auditability, and data consistency. No final retention period or automatic permanent-deletion schedule has been established.

If you cannot use the in-app action, or if you want to ask about deletion or other data, email admin@productsparkstudio.com. Include the email address associated with your account and describe your request. Do not include your password.

Local prototype behavior

When Firebase is not configured, Praying For You Community can operate in a local prototype mode. In that mode, the profile, session, and local request state are stored on the device instead of being sent to Firebase. Removing the app or clearing its storage may affect that local data.

Retention

Product Spark Studio keeps information only as current product behavior and operational needs require. A complete retention schedule has not been established. In particular, the future treatment of soft-removed requests, prayer interactions, and reports after account deletion remains under review. You may contact us with a specific deletion question or request.

Safety and sensitive content

Prayer requests may contain personal or sensitive information. Share only what you are comfortable placing in the app. Do not use the service for emergency help. Content can be reported for manual review and may be removed when it violates the Terms of Use or creates a safety concern.

Children and age eligibility

The current private beta of Praying For You Community is limited to invited testers age 18 and older. We are not intentionally inviting children or teenagers to participate in this beta. Age eligibility for a future public release has not yet been determined. A parent or guardian should contact us if they believe a child has provided information.

Security

Product Spark Studio uses the access controls and authentication capabilities built into the current Firebase implementation. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure. Please use a strong, unique password and do not send passwords by email.

Policy updates

We may update this policy as the website, app, or information practices change. The effective date at the top will be revised when the policy changes. Material product behavior changes should be reflected here before users are asked to rely on them.
